An International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a series of digits that function like a product number. ISBNs exist to single out one book or edition of a book.

Every ISBN is unique, and can belong to one book edition only.

Is the barcode the ISBN?

A barcode is an ISBN translated to a machine-readable image. The bars and spaces represent the digits in the ISBN.

We generate your barcode for you, and add it for you to your book’s back cover.
